One MICHELIN star. High-quality cuisine, worth a stop!

Located on the ground floor of the Prestige Hotel in Budapest, this strikingly decorated restaurant brings nature indoors with a living wall and ceiling. Ask for a booth or sit at the chef’s table for a view of the kitchen. The menus showcase Hungarian ingredients and the flavours are bold and well defined.

The successful opening of the first restaurant on Raday Street in 2008 reached a milestone two years later under the leadership of Miguel Rocha Vieira, a Portuguese-born chef when it became one of the first restaurants in Central and Eastern Europe to be awarded a Michelin star. This kick-started the development of Hungarian gastronomy, which has since become home to five more Michelin-starred restaurants, including the Costes Downtown restaurant, the new chapter for the Costes Group opened in 2015.

“A perfect restaurant is unlikely – as taste is subjective – but we will strive for excellence without compromise”.
